Sunday is a packed last day at our festival.

At 2 p.m. at the Astor Theatre, the Moroccan troupe Fantasia brings us Head to Head, a moving story of conjoined twins. Each aches to live their own life separate from their twin, but not if it means the other dies.

That is followed by a Coffee Critique at the Liverpool Curling Club at 3:15 p.m.

At 7 p.m. at the Astor, the Italian troupe Avanzi di Scena Cultural Association will close out the performances with The Italian Movie Factory, an audio-visual love letter to Italian cinema and its award-winning directors.

And then it’s our closing festivities, including our awards ceremony, beginning at 8:30 at the Astor. The closing ceremonies are free to everybody.

After the awards ceremony, our International Farewell begins at 9:30 at the curling club with singer Geoff Kennedy. It’s a great chance to come out and bid the troupes a bon voyage.

You can still buy tickets to the plays at the Astor Theatre box office at 902-354-5250 or via Ticketpro here.
