Talented young artist selected to create LITF 2024 awards

The Liverpool International Theatre Festival (LITF) is thrilled to announce that Sophie Hopper, a talented 14-year-old artist from Bridgewater, has won the opportunity to have his beautiful watercolour interpretation of the JesterFish represent the LITF 2024 awards.

Sophie has always loved creating art.  Painting and drawing in particular.  This achievement highlights his exceptional talent and dedication to the arts. The JesterFish, depicted with vibrant colors and intricate details, captivated the judges and stands as a testament to Sophie’s creativity and skill.

Awards are presented to troupes and troupe members at the festival, taking place from October 17 to 20. Each festival features a new award, each award is unique, and Sophie emerged as the successful artist among several who vied for this honor.

Annette Burke, LITF Awards Chairperson, remarked, “Thanks so much to everyone who submitted their work. It was a difficult decision as each submission was very unique and lovely. The piece that Sophie submitted captures the spirit of LITF. His work is beautiful!”
